About
I’m a Digital Marketing Intern at Croc’s & Clicks, a digital marketing agency, where I manage websites and Google Business Profiles for local businesses. I’m also a senior Marketing Management student at Cal Poly Pomona, graduating in May 2027.

My story
How I got here
I started at Chaffey College, where I earned an associate degree in business administration, and then transferred to Cal Poly Pomona to study Marketing Management. Along the way I found that I enjoyed the hands-on side of marketing the most, especially building websites and helping businesses show up when customers search for them.
Since March 2026, I’ve been a Digital Marketing Intern at Croc’s & Clicks, a digital marketing agency that works with local service businesses like electricians, auto body shops, and contractors. These businesses need to show up when someone nearby needs help, and they need a website that makes it easy to call or request a quote.
I manage 5 client Google Business Profiles and the websites for two businesses. A Business Profile is often where a customer decides whether to call or visit, so I keep each one up to date by updating business details, adding keyword descriptions and photos, and responding to customer reviews. I’ve helped clients that did not show up in Google’s map results move into the top three spots.
On the website side, I do keyword research with Google Keyword Planner and Search Console, then update page titles, meta descriptions, and content to help clients rank higher in local search. I track both websites in Google Analytics and Google Search Console, use that data to decide which pages to build or update, and make those changes myself with Claude Code, an AI coding tool. I also work directly with clients, so account management is a big part of my role.
Outside of the agency, I’m completing a micro-internship with TeenTix LA, a nonprofit that makes arts events affordable for Los Angeles teens. I’m conducting market research and developing recommendations to bring more teenagers to its art and music events. The core question is the same one I think about with local businesses: what will get people to show up in person?
I’m currently looking for a full-time role in digital marketing, SEO, or marketing coordination, at an agency or in-house, starting summer 2027 after I graduate.
How I work
How I approach every project
Start with research
Before making changes, I look at how a website and its Business Profile are performing, what customers are searching for, and what is holding the business back. This also gives me a starting point to measure results against later.
Build for the customer
I design pages around what a customer needs to do, like finding a service, calling, or requesting a quote, and make sure the site is easy to use on a phone.
Track results from the start
I set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console early so I can see what is working and what is not, instead of guessing.
Be honest about the numbers
When I report results, I include the time period, where the data came from, and anything else that may have affected it, like seasonality or other campaigns.
